In June of 2013, sitting outside of a local Joe’s Crab Shack restaurant, Jameel had the idea to start a grassroots organization thus, creating what would eventually come to be known as M3 (ME) Productions.
Frustrated with the momentum of his career at the time, Jameel was inspired to come up with the idea to create a company that not only provided performance opportunities to the underrepresented artists in the Philadelphia community, but to also create an organization that prioritized investing into the community of said artists.
Under its previous moniker “A.D.H.D” (Artistically Driven Humbled Disciples), M3 Productions had its debut sold-out showcase at the Philadelphia African-American History Museum in July of 2013. The company’s final show under the moniker ADHD premiered at the legendary theater “The Painted Bride” in July of 2016.
In 2022, Jameel’s vision for the company was revamped, which led to renaming the company M3 (ME) Productions. M3 Productions in all of its facets (community engagement, dance, entertainment, fashion) not only celebrates, but emphasizes individuality & community building.
